You can find your serial number plate typically either from the hookframe or the subframe. For bigger Multilifts it is in the hookframe, for smaller in the subframe.

Serial number is in the plate in the driver compartment normally at your right knee.

Waltco

The specification tag is a round 2-1/2" diameter metal plate that is riveted to your liftgate adn is located in one of two places, depending on which type of liftgate you have.

1. Rail Type Liftgate Spec Tag Location: If your liftgate is a column liftgate that attaches directly to the body of the liftgate, the tag will be on the curbside column of the liftgate near the control switches for the liftgate.
2. Flipaway & Conventional Type Liftgate Spec Tag Location: If your liftgate attaches to the underside of the vehicle, the specification tag will be located on the Main Mount Structure of the liftgate that welds or bolts to the underside of the vehicle. The tag will be attached to one of the plates or clevises that retains the Hydraulic Cylinder(s) to the Main Mount Structure of your liftgate
